In February 2023, Syria and Turkey were hit with a devastating earthquake. Local New Jersey towns, specifically with large Syrian and Turkish heritage jumped to aid those in need across the world. The state's humanitarian efforts included sending medical supplies, food, emergency relief funds, and much more to support the affected communities.

Various organizations and volunteers from New Jersey worked tirelessly to offer assistance, demonstrating solidarity and compassion in the face of this tragic natural disaster. The collective effort aimed to alleviate suffering and help rebuild the lives of those impacted by the earthquake.
